I just today found this story. Very amusing. I also love 2 little details: in your explanation, you mention the "magic" of at least the temporary belief (nice touch); and also, the arm across the chest looks suspiciously like that of Oetzi!

Hi, I just found your site while looking for some fairy inspiration. My mother is a wood worker and one of her products was "fairy doors". She's more business woman than artist, so to help her out I decided to make her a mini book of fairy doors/homes designs (for christmas). Of course they're all cutesy things for her type of customers, but I am much more into your style of art. Looking through your site I became completely distracted and my brain is now hyper with wanting to be creative again. I thank and curse you for the distraction ;)

Good luck with your art. It's wonderful.

I am very interested in fairies. I'd never actually thought before that they were real. I've always wondered about them and I've always wanted to think that they were reaL.I didn't want people to think that I was silly for thinking so. But I think I do believe now that they once were. I am 14 right now and I want to be a forensics scientist. Hopefully I could find fairy remains n study them.

I'm very disappointed to find that your little fairy is not "real" but it is an excellent work of art. The detail is amazing. If you ever decide to sell them, please email me with a price. I would be honored to own one. However, I still pursue true evidence that living, breathing fairies do exist in our world, right along next to us.

Amazing work, it's kinda mind blowing how you make them look like real dried out fairies. Im still in awe.

I just want to say that I love your work. All of it is just incredible. I actually found your site after being bored at work and googling random things. I came across the story of the mummified fairy remains and then ended up here. I actually have one of my friends convinced that whole story is real! Anyway... I look forward to seeing more of your work. :)[center]

As someone who chooses to believe in things both supernatural and totally out of this world, I kand of find it hard to believe that your fairy mummy is just that.
I am very in to my folklore, but I have to admit that I have my doubts. Should I be wrong, hey, fab descovery! Show me more! Make a believer out of me!

Blessed Be

Hello: Just found your sight and was intreged by it. I am sorry to hear that you found this fairy fake. I do not think so but then again that is me. Yes I do believe in Faries and nature spirits and yes I am a spiritual person.
I have taken many pictures and have found faires, gnomes, nature creatures and more.
I hope you do not give up your chase for they are there for the true believers. You have to be open to them for them to make there pressence known. If you wish for me to email you some of these pictures that would be great. let me know
at my email or check out facebook. innerquest444@hotmail.com for just a few pic's
hope to hear from you soon.

That is not a fairy. That would be a pixie. Fairies for one are immortal. They are also not small they are bigger than humans in their normal state. They also don't have wings because they sift through time and space. They don't dwell in gardens...and they hate humans. they also can't be seen by humans unless they wished us to see them and that is very unlikely. Please read up on your mythology the sidhe don't like humans and would never be found. Pixies on the other hand can be seen, but kill them him you see one for they will do worse to you.
